Artemis in the City's Festive Black-Eyed Peas and other recipes were featured in the news media to help people welcome in the new year with good health, luck and prosperity.

The article titled "A New Year's Feast", highlights traditional southern New Year's Day recipes, but with a healthy twist, and their symbolic meaning. The article ran on Wednesday, December 29, 2010, in the Taste section of the Longview News-Journal.
