Diagnostic Testing Services
Artemis in the City provides our patients with a comprehensive selection of diagnostic laboratory testing services. Through our partnerships with many reputable CLIA licensed labs, we help people more fully assess their health so that underlying root causes of health issues can be uncovered and addressed.
Diagnostic labs are very important tools which enable us to more effectively develop medical nutrition therapies and personalized diet and nutrition recommendations based on the individual needs of each patient.
Here in this practice you will find more comprehensive functional lab assessments and services than what is typically offered by other standard of care focused clinics.

Insurance:
Most of the functional diagnostic testing we offer is eligible to file on insurance (for our patients only). There is generally a patient insurance rate that is considerably less than the retail rate for the lab. However, the patient is responsible for any portion of the cost that the insurance company does not pay the diagnostic lab for the testing. We can discuss in complete detail during an consultation. Nonpatients and patients without insurance will need to pay the retail rate for the diagnostic testing. Additionally, Medicare will not cover these specialty labs.
Book an Appointment:
If you would like to discuss at length your health issues, health goals, available diagnostic testing and costs, please schedule a new patient nutrition intake assessment.
If you are not a patient of Artemis in the city and would like a diagnostic lab test listed in our web store with a result review only, please purchase the lab and also contact us to make sure we have all of the information we need to send you the diagnostic lab requisition form and or the specialty lab kit.
The testing is available in most states with a few exceptions. If for any reason you purchase a lab that is not available in your state, we will refund your payment as quickly as possible.
Consultations for diagnostic lab testing results are provided both in-office (for our patients only) and via tele-health.
