Please join us on Thursday, March 24, 2011 from 8:00 AM - 1:30 PM for the 24th annual Women In Longview Day (WILD). The event will include two one hour seminars featuring Danielle Heard, MS, HHC, Certified Holistic Health Counselor, Natural Whole Foods Chef and Founder of Artemis in the City. Danielle will educate and inspire you to "Create a Better World with Whole Foods."
Danielle will share her personal story of overcoming fibromyalgia and connective tissue disease, and highlight the impact food choices have on individual health and the health of our World. Seminar times are 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM and 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM and will be held in the Cargill Room at Maude Cobb Convention Center.
Tickets for the event are $25.00 and are available at various business locations in Longview, TX. Please visit the WILD website for more information. Tickets are available but are not sold through this website.
Tickets may be purchased in advance for $25 at an outlet, including Barron’s Books, downtown branch of Texas Bank and Trust, Books and Java (Marshall Mall) and members of Women in Longview. Tickets for blocks of 8 will be delivered. Tickets are also available by mailing the Ticket Form along with payment. Groups of 8 may request a reserved table. A very limited number of tickets will be available the day of the event, so it is important to purchase your tickets in advance to be assured of admittance.
Women in Longview Day is a half-day program of events designed to provide women of Longview with opportunities to learn from each other. Each year, the event attracts more than 400 participants of diverse ages, backgrounds and interests. Many are career women in various fields as well as homemakers or retired women. Men are welcome to attend this event to hear the seminars, view the exhibits, enjoy the lunch and support the women in their lives.
This year the WILD theme is "A Better World for Women."
